This course gives you an understanding of TWB, the role played by language professionals during humanitarian crises, the difference between interpreters and cultural mediators, what the tasks of interpretation and cultural mediation entail, and how to approach them. It is not exhaustive and is not intended to replace the more in-depth and in-person training that is recommended for anyone working with language for humanitarian responseThe course duration is approximately 6 hours, but you can take a break and come back later if you wish to do so. To complete the course, you need to create a Moodle account.
